Seeking God First

Have you ever felt life pulling you in many directions, work, family, responsibilities, and dreams all at the same time? Yet, in the midst of it all, Scripture reminds us to “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). True peace, purpose, and fulfillment begin when we put God at the center of our lives.

Prioritize God Above All

Seeking God first is about aligning our hearts to His will before anything else. When we start each day with prayer, Scripture, and worship, we set the foundation for guidance, wisdom, and strength that no earthly pursuit can provide.

“When we put God first, all other things fall into their proper place or drop out of our lives.” – Ezra Taft Benson

Trust His Provision

God promises to meet our needs when we place Him first. Instead of worrying about tomorrow, we can walk in faith, knowing that He provides not only what sustains us but also what equips us for His calling.

“The will of God will not take us where the grace of God cannot sustain us.” – Billy Graham

Find Lasting Fulfillment

The world offers temporary satisfaction, but seeking God leads to eternal joy and purpose. In Him, we discover who we truly are, why we are here, and how we can live a life that impacts others for His glory.

“If you look at the world, you’ll be distressed. If you look within, you’ll be depressed. If you look at God, you’ll be at rest.” – Corrie ten Boom

As we seek God first, everything else in life falls into its rightful place. Let’s make it our daily pursuit to draw closer to Him, walk in His truth, and live out His purpose
